Cost:The cost of all beading classes is $10.00 or $15.00 per person, per session, unless otherwise specified.
Descriptions of Beading Classes We Offer
Eye Pin JewelleryLearn how to manipulate eye pins and head pins with round nosed pliers. Use this technique to make many beaded projects, including earrings, wine bottle covers, rosaries, and wire wrapped pendants.
Beading BasicsLearn the basics of how to properly make a finished necklace, using the correct tools, supplies and techniques. If you want to learn beading, this is your first stop - an ideal course for new beaders.
Floating Necklaces (Crimping)Learn how to make illusion jewellery by properly crimping and positioning beads in place. An ideal project idea for making a great piece of jewellery, using only a few beads! Use a few crystals and make some beautiful bridal jewellery.
Pearl KnottingDo you have pearls that are hidden away, collecting dust? Do you have broken strands at the bottom of a drawer or a jewellery box? Bring your old pearls back to life! Restore their lustre! Mix them with family birthstones to create beautiful necklaces and bracelets. Create memorable keepsakes and heirlooms. We will teach you how to professionally re-knot your pearls yourself - You can do it!
Floating Necklaces (Knotted)Create a spiderweb collage of beads dancing on your neck! Acrylic beads are lightweight, inexpensive and the ideal way to complete this project.
Chandelier EarringsMake fashionable earrings as dangly as you want them - flashy or conservative. Before you take this class, you must first take the Eye Pin Jewellery Class.
Tiara BasicsThe cost for this class is $15.00 per person + supplies. Attention: all Princess brides, budding royalty and beaders who are up to a challenge! Learn how to make a detailed, beaded headband. You have the option of using this headband as a foundation, building it into a more intricate design.
Collage TapingLearn a great way to use leftover seed beads and bugle beads. Create beautiful, finished projects without spending a fortune! A few ways you can use the skills you will learn in this class: Home decor - decorate candle holders, picture frames, lampshades and holiday ornaments. Use this technique for scrapbooking, decorating gifts and greeting cards. Using this technique, you are only limited by your imagination. You can use our in-store designs as the starting points - as base patterns to work from, or create your own from scratch!
Memory Wire Necklace and Bracelet (Ages 8 and up)Make a coiled wire bracelet and necklace set, and decorate it with beautiful,
colourful beads!
